What is Natal Astrology?

Natal Astrology is the interpretation of planetary positions and other information at the time and place of birth of a person (usually) and can also be applied to businesses, sports teams, nations etc. I use a selection of interpretation methods drawn from Astrology as a whole, working in a Person-Centred way. I usually need the time to an accuracy of 15 minutes, otherwise I can calculate an approximate chart.

My Astrological Journey:

After accidentally discovering Natal Astrology (at the "Zero" workshops, more about them in the "About Me" page) and with some scepticism, I went on to formally study the subject in 1988 and saw it to be both real and valuable.

I then learned how to draw and interpret birthcharts and have been doing so ever since.

I do Western Tropical Astrology, not Chinese Astrology.

I took a break from the subject for about a year, as I resolved a problem that I had with house systems. I resolved the problem by inventing my own house system (for dividing a birthchart into "houses"), later happily discovering that it'd been invented about 1000 years before, by a man called Sripati. I continue to use his/my houses in my astro work.

I've consistently experienced birthcharts as an accurate symbol of a person's essential nature, a kind of planetary inheritance (rather than a genetic one). I'm glad I've had my birthchart available to me since 1988, continually using it to help me navigate through life.

Technicals:

I use "planetdance" software, available for free from jcremers.com, a site (and person) that I've found safe and reliable for over 10 years.

I only do in-person readings at Cwtsh, which I invite you to record, if you like. I provide a copy of your chart by email for your records.

My fee is £60/hour, negotiable according to your circumstances. I can take cash, or payment by direct bank transfer. For cash, I prefer payment no later than the start of a session and I require payment by the end of a session. For bank transfer, I require payment no later than 1 hour before the start of a session.

Cancellation/Lateness policy: Please inform me as soon as you can, if you need to cancel a session. I will do the same if I need to cancel. Except in case of emergency, the following policy applies: I'll charge you 1/2 the session fee if you cancel less than 45 minutes before the session is due to start. If you're late, I'll wait for you for 15 minutes after a session is due to start, after that I consider the session cancelled by you without notice and I charge you 1/2 the session fee.
